EOI 2025-2026-13

Council is seeking expressions of interest for the purchase of miscellaneous plant & depot items. Prospective purchasers should note that:

  • The items are to be sold ‘as is’; and
  • The successful applicant is to be responsible for all transport and moving costs.

Items available:

  • Gantry – already disassembled. Dimensions: 3 Sections 510mm x 190mm, 6550mm long, 4 Sections 150mm x 70mm, 3800mm long
  • Safe – No keys available. Dimensions: 815mm high x 660mm deep x 660mm wide.
  • Diesel Tank – 5000L capacity
  • Chainsaw – starts and runs well
  • Push Mower – mower works well; however, gear box is broken so will no longer self-propel.
  • Demo Saw – runs ok, has trouble starting.

An inspection of the items may be arranged by way of appointment, please contact Laura Sonnberger, Contract & Procurement Officer, at the Nhill Office on (03) 5391 4444.

MAKE A SUBMISSION

Expressions of Interest close 5:00pm on Thursday 23 October 2025, and must be lodged using the options below:

  • By completing an online Expression of Interest form (linked below); or
  • By printing and completing the Expression of Interest Form, scanning and emailing to info@hindmarsh.vic.gov.au or submitting a completed hardcopy to any Hindmarsh Shire Council Customer Service Centre.

Please note that:

  • Council is not bound to accept any submission, nor is it bound to accept the highest submission.
  • Late submissions will not be considered.
  • Submissions will only be accepted by the ways listed above.
  • Successful applicants must collect their items by Friday 14 November 2025. Any items not collected by this date will be handled at Council’s discretion.

NEXT STEPS

  • Council will evaluate all submissions after the closing date.
  • Applicants will be notified on the outcome of their bid/s by Friday 31 October 2025.
  • Council will issue an invoice for all successful bids. The invoice needs to be paid prior to collection of the item/s.
