2026/2027 Annual Budget and Revenue and Rating Plan
At the Council Meeting held on Wednesday 6 May 2026, Hindmarsh Shire Council resolved to give public notice of the intended 2026/2027 Budget (incorporating Revenue and Rating Plan).
Drop-in sessions will be held at the following locations:
Dimboola Library - Monday 11 May 2026, 2:00pm - 3:30pm
Nhill Customer Service Centre (Council Chambers) - Tuesday 19 May 2026, 2:00pm - 3:30pm
Rainbow Library - Thursday 21 May 2026, 8:00am - 9:30am
Jeparit Memorial Hall - Tuesday 26 May 2026, 2:00pm - 3:30pm
Online session via Microsoft Teams - Wednesday 27 May 2026, 7:00pm - 8:30pm (Registrations closed!)
These sessions give you the opportunity to speak to Councillors and Council staff about the draft Budget.
You can view the Draft Budget linked to this page. It is also available for inspection at the Customer Service Centres in Nhill, Dimboola, Rainbow and Jeparit. Any person may make a written submission by completing the online survey below. Alternatively, hard copies of submissions can be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer and posted or delivered to Hindmarsh Shire Council, PO Box 250, Nhill VIC 3418.
Council will consider submissions and adoption of the budget at the Council Meeting at 3:00pm on Wednesday 24 June 2026 at the Council Chamber, 92 Nelson Street, Nhill.
Submissions close at 11:59pm on Sunday 7 June2026.
